Supervisors Needed for Provisional Psychologists

Provisional Psychologists or those seeking provisional status frequently contact the PAA office to obtain the names of potential supervisors. To support our members in this process, PAA has developed a list of potential supervisors to assist students and provisional psychologists in their search for a supervisor.

If you are willing to supervise a provisional psychologist or intern, please submit a PAA Supervisors Information form to the PAA Office. Forms can be downloaded from our Downloadable Forms page. More...

If your name is already on our list but you are unable to provide supervision at this time, please let us know so we can keep the list updated.

Sarah Yarnold - Supervisor Needed - Calgary

Provisional Psychologist Seeking Supervision

My name is Sarah Yarnold and I am looking for a supervisor who is willing to take on a provisional psychologist in order to complete 1600 hours of supervised practice. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology at Simon Fraser University followed by a Masters of Counselling Psychology at Adler University. I am a hard working individual who is extremely passionate about helping others. I believe in creating strong interpersonal connections and highlighting the uniqueness and inherent worth of all people.

I have a special interest in neuropsychology with experience working in a chronic pain and head injury clinic. I have worked in clinical settings with clients from diverse backgrounds presenting with various concerns, including anxiety, body image, self-esteem, depression, trauma, grief, traumatic brain injury, parenting and interpersonal concerns. Moving forward, I would like to expand my knowledge base to include psychoeducational assessments with children or adults. I have some experience with children and families who have been diagnosed with a learning disability; however, this is an area that I want further training and guidance.

My ideal supervisor would be hands on, patient, dedicated, and is willing to share their knowledge and experiences. Ideally, I would like someone who has breadth in both neuropsychology and psychoeducation assessments/interventions. However, my priority is being able to gain experience and clinical practise with a variety of clinical concerns.

If you are interested in learning more about me or have any questions please contact me at
