Privacy Officers for the PAA office will be the Business & Operations Manager and the Executive Director.
PAA will adhere to the following fair practices:
- Be accountable for personal information under its control
- Identify the purpose for collecting personal information
- Obtain consent prior to disclosing any personal information to external parties
- Limit collection of personal information to that which is necessary
- Limit use, disclosure & retention of personal information
- Be accurate in recording personal information
- Use appropriate safeguards to protect personal information
- Be open about information management practices
- Give individual access and correct personal information as needed
- Address a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles
