Nationally Renowned Psychologist Visiting Calgary
Dr. Gordon Neufeld a Vancouver-based developmental psychologist will be speaking to parents at a specially arranged evening meeting at the Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre, May 11 from 7-9 PM.
Dr. Neufeld will expand upon what has gone wrong in families and what can be done to restore a parents place in their childrens' lives. Any interested member of the public is welcome to attend.
A recognized expert on relationships between children and parents, Dr. Neufeld is author of the bestselling book, Hold on to Your Kids: Why Parents Matter. He knows of what he speaks, being a father of five and a grandparent. He also has over thirty years of professional experience in working with children and parents.
Dr. Neufeld is also attending the annual meeting of the Psychologists' Association of Alberta being held in Calgary May 11 to 14. "We are delighted that Dr. Neufeld is coming to Calgary," says Dr. Sally Barros, President of the Psychologists' Association of Alberta. We are looking forward to hearing from him and know that parents that take in his evening session will be amazed by his insight into subjects such as aggression and violence.
