Psychologically Healthy Workplace Initiative Award

The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Initiative Award is presented on an annual basis to an employer and or organization that has implemented a workplace initiative that contributes to the psychological health and well-being of its employees.
 
Examples of various initiatives are, but not restricted to the:

  • implementation of family-friendly policies
  • initiation of programs for employee growth and development
  • delivery of stress reduction programs
  • promotion of health and wellness

The healthy workplace initiative must:

  • be directly related to employee wellness
  • be current, either ongoing or completed within the past year
  • be of practical benefit to employees and/or their families

All nominations will be reviewed by the PAA Awards Committee who will choose the recipient. The recipient of the award, as well as the nominator will be invited to the annual awards banquet held in October.

A news release may also be issued to announce the recipient. Nomination forms may be obtained either through the PAA office or on the PAA website under PAA Awards Nomination Forms.

The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Initiative Award is not a monetary award.
